Fluehr Park - Eden Hall Chapel.Fluehr Park is located on Grand Avenue between I-95 and Frankford Avenue. There are a number of ballfields. The site was once an estate that was home to Eden Hall. The Hall has since burned down. One remaining structure is a French Gothic chapel that was attached to the mansion which later became a boarding school. The chapel is in a state of disrepair. The Fairmount Park Commission is looking for an organization to adopt building in the system that are in need of repair and renovation. There is more information available about this worthy cause at http://www.fairmountpark.org/BuildingsForAdoptionList.asp For general information about reservations of park facilities, visit http://www.fairmountpark.org/
Above is an overall view of the remains of the Chapel. You can see where the chapel joined the mansion.
