Museums

Philadelphia is a great cultural center. If you have a limited time to visit, keep in mind that the Art Museum area is home to a number of museums such as the Academy of Natural Sciences, the Franklin Institute and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The Franklin Institute is a must see if you're visiting Philadelphia .  It provides an excellent learning experience , especially for kids .  Exhibits range from a electricity demonstrations , aeronautics , the famous walk-through heart and the equally famous locomotive in the basement .  If that isn't enough there's a planetarium and hundreds of other exhibits .  Every area of the museum has hands on , interactive exhibits .
